**Overview**

DIY roVad Smart Switch Kit is a 4ch IoT smart relay system designed for makers who want local and remote control, transparency, and full customization.

The device supports:

- Two-way MQTT communication

- Local AP mode (offline control)

I started the DIY roVad Smart Switch Kit to build a unified smart-home system — hardware and software that can be upgraded, controlled from a single app, and used anywhere.

This project follows a philosophy of continuous improvement — like climbing a hill, one step at a time.

The current 4ch version is fully functional, but the project itself is ongoing.

Based on feedback and available resources, future versions may include:

6, 8, or 16 channel variants.

Kit Specifications

  • Enclosure (Box + Lid)
    • Material: PLA

  • NodeMCU V3 ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module

      • VCC: Positive supply voltage (5V)
      • GND: Ground
      • IN1–IN4: Relay control port
    • Output:
      • Connect a load: DC 30V/10A, AC 250V/10A
  • Dupont F-F cables (10cm) – (Mirocontroller - Relay Board)

  • High-voltage AC (110–250V) can be switched. Take extreme caution.

Two-way communication via the app allows real-time interaction with the microprocessor. Users can monitor relay statuses, time, and timers at any moment. We welcome your suggestions for new commands.
