I love renewable energy and have dabbled with solar panels for a number of years. This time I wanted to try my hand at wind power. After some umming and ahhing I decided to try making a Savonius 4 bladed "turbine". The reason being its omnidirectional. It doesn't matter which way he wind blows, it will still spin. Hope fully the aim is to make about 12v, and about 5amps to trickle charge some 12v batteries in my shed.
