"kaleido.cam" is a project combining hardware and software: It is a contraption that films a kaleidoscope from the inside, while allowing the kaleidoscope to be rotated by the user. The image is streamed to the web, and the user can interact with it via the web as well.

The hardware is currently deployed in our local hackerspace. The Raspberry Pi uses wireguard to connect to my server automatically on boot, allowing the device to be used anywhere where there is an internet connection. I presented the device originally at the 39C3.

Currently, I'm learning how to do PCB design. I would love to have a fancy version of the little board I soldered. I'll publish PCB files on GitHub as well, but you can already go there and fine the schematics to solder a version of your own.

If you build it as well, let me know! Right now the website only serves a single stream, but I would be up for modifying it to support multiple devices. Or, you can self-host, the website is OSS as well :)
