PCB HAT for Particle Tachyon SBC (Also raspberry pi compatible) which mounts an Adafruit RP2040 CAN Feather. This board features a 12v>5V buck circuit to power the feather and input protection. This board has an LED for visual feedback, i2c breakout headers, and a 5 pin screw terminal for OBD2 input.
I am sniffing CAN frames with the RP2040 and sending them via UART to the Tachyon (or Pi). I will pick this data up with NODE Red dashboard for display on a custom webpage.
The Particle Tachyon SBC has 5G integrated as well as remote fleet control via Particle Cloud. This allows me to connect to this system wirelessly to monitor data.
