StreetpoleEMS PCB and EMS OPENAMI is an open-sourced Energy IoT multitenant metering distribution. This project started with sponsored work within the IEEE ISV Smart Village tech committee and a small initial group of open-source Energy IoT skilled enthusiasts. Incubation started at the Oakland, California, Port Labs work space that catered to startup technology early incubation. IN cooperation with IEEE ISV seed-funded startup REI Cameroon, which supplied requirements for a multiservice distribution minigrid edge set of consolidated last/first km smartened local energy control methods and an LV-feeder DER-like apparatus. With added teaming from Gizmo Power, New Energy Solution Labs, Energy IoT, Enaccess with Sunspec alliance overwatch,a "StreetPoleEMS" mini-grid feeder distribution made up of commodity off-the-shelf energy module parts, an opensourced hardware and embedded software distribution edge was born, debuted at SF Climate week Port Labs first opensource energy hackathon.
