This one will be made in time. It uses 3 Yamaha ball screw actuators to allow for 800mm/s max speed and plenty of rigidity. I got lucky and the whole frame minus a few small sections were free but otherwise would have used the plastic tube frame from T106 or similar.
Full servos except Z. X will have a static motor and a long belt to act as a markforged XY kinematics. Print volume to be 500mm SQ x ~500.
For those curious, the actuators were ~$110 each for a 550mm stroke with built in bearings of actual name brand quality.
