Instead of pulling the receiver out of the water drone to reuse in the aerial build, I decided to go a different route and ordered a second FS-iA10B. That gives each craft its own dedicated receiver, which honestly makes a lot more sense long term.
At first I considered just swapping hardware between builds, but that would have turned into constant disassembly and reconfiguration every time I wanted to switch platforms. Not only is that annoying, it also introduces unnecessary wear on connectors and increases the chance of wiring mistakes.
With the FS-i6X transmitter I’m using, I already have separate model profiles set up for each vehicle, so this approach fits perfectly. Each receiver can be bound to its own profile, and I can switch between the drone and the water platform directly from the transmitter without touching the hardware.
