I made a modern retrofit for the 40+ year old SMPS found in Apple //e computer. These ~60W supplies were quite reliable in their day, but now prone to failure due to age. I couldn’t repair mine, so I was motivated to create something new, borrowing heavily from the work of DekuNukem and leveraging the tiny-yet-powerful Pico ATX DC-DC units aimed at the Small Form Factor PC crowd. I am quite pleased with the result.
