Description

MCU: STM32L432KC
Epaper screen: GDEY0154D67 (good display 1.54" 200x200 pixel square display, inflexible)
RTC: RV3028

Currently aiming to make just a basic watch. Potentially more features later:

- solar power via thin solar cells sheets
- mesh node?
- night mode to light it up (using a red LED to avoid melatonin disruption at night)

Components

  • 1 × STM32L432KC
  • 1 × GDEY0154D67 1.54" 200x200 pixel epaper display from Good display
  • 1 × RV3028 low power RTC

    now to think of battery/power setup, trying to think of how to incorporate solar cells potentially in the future

    I'm realizing that manually setting the base time through the STM32CubeMX ioc file isn't ideal, this is where the free samples of the RV3028 from microcrystal will come in handy
