I was given this vape to quit smoking. It has a bunch of neat features including bluetooth, a calculator, a few games, a calendar, a mic, speaker, and interestingly enough, a touchscreen.
It is now spent and would be normally discarded. I had originally considered adding a larger capacity battery to the case and call it a day.
But I realized that it doesn't need to stay in its original form factor and that it could possibly made into a robust BT speaker with possible larger speakers, battery capacity with a touch screen!
The goal of the project is to remove all components from the original case, discard vape components and case and design a new enclosure that would support a set of larger speakers and batteries.
I am going to be using batteries from 2-3 Foger disposable vapes to replace the original.
I do not know if i will need any other components, but I am considering an amplifier for the speakers.
At the moment there isnt a way to modify the firmware that i know of, although that would be neat.
This vape retails now for 24.99, Im not throwing away 25 bucks because its empty.
