markbngI had a problem with the latching hall sensors last friday. Today I got the omnipolar hall sensors from Farnell. And these sensors work as it should. So I will use these sensors in my door and windows frames. The output is high when no magnet is detected and is low when a magnetic field is present. I have used a high pull-up resistor (1M ohm), so the high level is only 4.5V.
