This project is a complete open-source smart lab automation system created for our college creative group (DigiComp, Room 501). It upgrades a standard classroom into a smart workspace.

The system handles secure access and environmental control. It uses an AS608 fingerprint sensor combined with an Arduino Uno for local biometric access, while communicating with Home Assistant via ESP32 for remote control, smart lighting, and voice notifications.

We built this to demonstrate affordable, scalable open-source IoT solutions for educational institutions.
