1-Wire gives you exactly one diagnostic: a sensor answered, or it didn't. If a cable breaks inside a wall, that's all you get. This project splits one 1-Wire bus into eight independent branches and, because each branch now has its own driver, measures each line's capacitance to report cable length and roughly where a fault is. Open hardware, RP2350, transparent to any existing 1-Wire master.
