What happens to digital childhood memories when corporate servers die? They usually disappear. Netro-G bridges software archaeology and physical hardware by bringing extinct MSN Messenger Winks back to life as interactive NFC gadgets. Steps taken:
1. Digital Archeology: Dug through the cobwebbiest archives to rescue over 300 extinct .swf and .mco Winks, converting them into modern media.
2. Graphic Reconstruction: Redrew assets in Photoshop and Illustrator, created the official Netro-G logo, and precision-sized physical prints to fit inside transparent acrylic keychains.
3. NFC & Web Architecture: Solved NFC chip limitations by finding permanent hosting, shortening URLs to fit chip memory, and bypassing .mp4 file-extension restriction triggers for seamless playback.
