This computer implements a PDP8e it includes an Extended Arithmetic Element (EAE). The project code is contained in a git repository. The repository includes test benches for submodules. The PDP8e was manufactured by DEC (Digital Equipment Corp), at the time maintenance manuals and test code was provide. The git repository contains those test procedures and test code. The code for the PDP8e and EAE were developed by me. A RK05/ RK8E disk / controller pair i an adaptation of code written by another developer. It was written in VHDL, I have translated that into system verilog which is processed into verilog.

The FPGA is an ICE40 HX8 by Lattice Semiconductor. The code is processed by yosys and nextpnr, both opensource tools,

The FPGA resides on a module sourced from robot electronics, ICEWerks. The module is mounted on a "chassis" that provides the interfacing circuits. The chassis is a classic blinken lights unit. The graphics are computer generated by code in s seper
