I’ve been developing an Apple II FPGA core for the OneChipBook, with the goal of turning the system into a practical, self-contained Apple II-compatible computer.

Current features include:

Slot 0 – 16 KB Language Card
Slot 2 – Super Serial Card, using one of the front DB9 ports. I’ve tested the interface with a custom loopback plug, and I have a PCB on order from PCBWay for the RS-232 adapter.
Slot 3 – Videx VideoTerm-compatible 80-column card
Slot 6 – Disk II Controller, loading .NIB disk images from the SD card. Read support is working, and write support is currently in development.
The second front DB9 port is used for Apple II joystick support.

The project is still evolving, with additional features and compatibility improvements planned as FPGA resources allow.
