### Project Overview
A compact and reliable USB-to-UART serial bridging module designed for embedding debugging, flashing, and testing microcontroller-based hardware. The board utilizes a modern USB Type-C interface and is optimized for manual prototyping and easy hand-soldering.

The project is fully completed and routed on a 2-layer PCB using Altium Designer.

### Technical Specifications
* **Bridge IC:** WCH CH340G (USB to Serial Transceiver)
* **Input Interface:** USB Type-C (12-pin receptacle, operating in USB 2.0 Full Speed mode)
* **Output Interface:** UART (TTL levels 5V / 3.3V selectable)
* **Clock Source:** 12 MHz crystal oscillator
* **Hardware Lines:** Main interface signals are fully broken out (TXD, RXD, RTS, DTR)
* **Power Stability:** Dedicated decoupling and filtering capacitors placed adjacent to the IC power pins.

### PCB Layout & Routing Features
* **Layer Count:** 2 Layers (Top / Bottom Signal layers).
* **Clock Optimization:** Optimal placement of the 12 MHz crystal resonator with minimum trace lengths directly to the oscillator pins to prevent EMI issues.
* **Grounding Strategy:** A solid, unbroken ground plane on the bottom layer to provide a low-impedance return path and minimize signal noise.
* **Manufacturing Ready:** All component footprints are optimized for both manual (hand-soldering/hot-air) and automated assembly (SMD).
