A mechanical count has a different presence from numbers on a screen. The E660 advances physical digits, making it an interesting output for event counters, interactive exhibits or a visible tally.
The interface accepts 5V and uses an onboard step-up converter to supply the counter’s 24V drive. Each falling edge on CNT advances the six-digit count by one.
It counts upward only and requires at least 20ms between pulses. Those constraints matter when mapping an encoder or sensor to the display: the host must turn a requested increment into suitably spaced pulses.
