A solenoid latch and a small breakout reduce this cabinet-lock experiment to power, ground and a release signal. The assembly uses a plastic mechanism and is normally in its locked position.

Apply 3.3–5V to VIN and drive RLS HIGH to retract the latch for release. An external controller supplies the decision and timing. Check the mounting, latch alignment and behavior without power before choosing it for an enclosure.
