Fixed stained glass technology has been around for ages, and its one of the most beautiful art forms made, however, what if a programmable stained glass could be made using a hydraulic subtractive color technique?, so its still truly backlit by the Sun? Here is a 3D model of how by hydraulic analog pixels filled with pure cyan, magenta and yellow oil, can then produce any visible color from the proportions of oils in each glass panel. Pixels are around 30cm each, and consist of three thin glass layers one behind the other. creating a generative liquid crystal stained glass, providing the appropriate technology to make the very first cathedral in the world dedicated to the Mandelbrot set. To make this a physical reality funds and some years will be needed, but it will be worth it, for anyone that is interested in donating to the cause and make this a reality.
