Visual Overview of System Configurations

The project image displays the modular nature of the open-source architecture, showcasing how standard laboratory tubing and scavenged non-spring-loaded slide taps interface with commercial urological equipment:

  • Left Assembly: Demonstrates a multi-valve irrigation fluid tree utilizing polypropylene T-connectors and isolated slide taps to partition flow direction safely.
  • Center Assembly: Highlights a low-profile inline configuration displaying a lateral injection/drainage isolation port.
  • Right Assembly: Displays the fully realized ambulatory setup connected directly to a standard Foley catheter. It demonstrates the placement of the upper strain-relief valve, the main continuous drainage segment, and the entry interface into a commercial collection pouch.
  • Ancillary Components: Shows the heavy-duty elastic anchor loop used to secure the upper assembly directly to clothing fabric, fully isolating physical fluid weight from the biological bladder balloon.
