I see many people taking things apart and analysing them bit by bit. But sometimes the beauty of nature is the whole. A melody is many instruments brought together.

The Bee Station is that idea: one instrument that gathers what bees perceive (ultraviolet light, the sun's polarization, electric fields, the magnetic field, vibrations, air and wind) and plays it back together, as one experience. It's for anyone, not just scientists.

It also has a Bird mode: listening to the Earth's magnetic compass the way migrating birds feel it, and to the electromagnetic noise that can blur it.

I'm not an engineer. I'm giving this idea away so that others can build it, improve it and share what they find.

What I truly wish is that it brings hope and inspiration to future generations: to wonder, to live their passion, to understand what surrounds them, and to accept things as they are.
