Description

I'm amazed by I how much you can do with just an ESP8266 and in this project I wanted to show off how it could integrate with multiple different APIs.

The device is made up of a Wemos D1 Mini (ESP8266) and 4 MAX7219 LED Matrix boards and housed in a cheap Ikea picture frame.

The device fetches the data directly from Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instructables and displays it on screen. The 4 libraries for this are available on the Arduino Library Manager and also on my Github
