As soon as I've had send the board, I just knew that new ideas would flood in. Here's a list of improvements for the board.

• bad pin planning: could have spared the RX/TX line and add an "FTDI" pinout, this way I need to program via ISP only
• add a transistor to the ground of the LEDs for dimming
• add a photo resistor for checking light of environment
