Wonderful! Which motor board are you using now? It seems like you are at the point where you could integrate everything into a single board which would significantly reduce production costs and make the modules much smaller. This of course means finding out how to source a motor.
I know use this module https://wiki.das-labor.org/w/Laserprojector_en#Horizontal_mirror (AN44000A). Issues with the motor; non-linear scaling ergo twice pulse frequency gives total different speed. Motor can lock into different modes with same signal applied.
Before I used NBC3111 which has linear scaling and lock in same mode. It seems to be older and can only go up to 21000 RPM.
