connect the ends of a 9" single strand of cat5 to to the microphone leads . like a dead short(a few nanohenrys). no noise can get into the mic input. but the line cord is inductive, especially at high amperage. scotch tape binds it to the cord ok. seems optimum with 3 turns for some reason. wme set to 8kbps can record it and/or stream it to the net. if you use a 99cent usb sound device, you can use another instance of wme to make videos with on-board sound while it's recording/and or streaming. my first prototype was an alligator clip jumper connected to a 9mm stereo patch cord. i tried 5 turns of a single strand of cat5 and it wasn't mush better.but 3 turns was seemed optimum. i assume it will work with a pi"Z" even better. i still need to compensate for the theta factor of the appliance motor. but it does render some facsimile of power consumption . i am trying to find how to read data from the usb audio device with autohotkey
