Why all this electromechanical relays? There are so many MOSFET based high side switches on the market now, e.g. from Infineon or ST, down to less than 10mOhm on-resistance. They also produce less heat than the relay coils.
These relay boards are part of the original installation. We've tired to use so much existing parts of the old system as possible....
