Screwed it down to the board and cleaned up the lines.

Looks like this is going to work.

Judging by the number or wraps  I have on my shaft, it looks like I could go about 3x bigger for my frame without modifying the design.  At that point I would cease to have a single wrap of cord and accuracy goes out the window.  This size will do for a proof of concept.
