We are trying to print the OpenFlexture microscope from Waterscope. The structure of the waterscope is 3D printed and the camera is from a Raspberry Pi. This is not our creation but we just tryied to understand how a microscope work and how a 3D printer work.
We picked a subject to choose our totem and microscope. Our subject for the totem is something more than 30cm and for the microscope the constrain was the Raspberry Pi. After some research, we decided to print the OpenFlexture microscope created by Waterscope. We printed the whole part of the microscope in the night at the same time.
What material did you print this with? I tried PLA with my Robo R1 plus and wasn't happy with it. I was thinking of having it printed by someone else. I also was considering a SLA printer in Nylon. Any suggestions on printing this would be appreciated.
Also, have you gone any further with this project?
