This 40 LED version recycled the PCB of a 600lm IKEA light bulb. Adding some additional wires, attach an ATTiny44 find a matching charlieplexing pattern and there it is. No need for KiCAD this time ;-).

BTW. There are 36 LEDs around. This are 3 LEDs per hour, if this would be a clock. Is that gonna be a clock? …
