IRIS : another open source spectrometer

TCD1304 timing are OK. I'm currently try to communicate via the FT2232H.

I upload the current design status on github :

PCB is OK

Vhdl still needs some work ( ASCII output ).

FPGA is working and could be loaded...

I plan to have an ascii output to ease the spectrum display with gnuplot...

Nest steps will be :

- Checking communication between FT2232 and FPGA

- Checking CCD timings

- Checking ADC

New PCB completed !

FT2232 is working !

FPGA testing next week....

I have just comited the first release of VHDL firmware. It includes a testbench with simultion of each element of the readout.

PCB is still in production.

Hope this is the final release !

Well, previous design was full of bugs... So I update it. PCB production in progress...

I had problems with the pcb. I have just received a new pcb today...

I'm currently soldering components on the fpga board...

I have just added a screenshot of one of my first spectra. Of course, it's not calibrated...

I've just released the PCB for the microcontroller version of the spectrometer. I stiil have to :

- Improve firmware

- Improve PC software

Anyway i'm already be able to acquire some spectra.
