Description

The purpose of this project is to create a pocket-sized tool for measuring distance from objects. We are going to need an ultrasonic ranging module to get the distance between our tool and the target-object.
Pushing a button connected to the ProTrinket will trigger the sensor and then the distance from the object will be displayed on the LCD screen.

We would also like to create a 3D-printed case for our tool and make it look cool!!!

Components

1 × ProTrinket Adafruit's ProTrinket with atmega328 microprocessor
1 × Ultrasonic ranging module Started with Sharp's 2D120X IR sensor, but switched to an ultrasonic sensor with bigger range (HC-SR04)
1 × PushButton 4x-pin pushbutton
1 × LCD display with I2C I2C compatible lcd display
1 × 10K resistor

Rebuilt the project using one breadboard. We also added a button which turns on the sensor and the LCD only when pressed.
