Is this only on new project creation, are there any tags added before clicking save?
This was when creating a new project. Tags didn't seem to take either. But it's all good now.
Seconding this. Two days already?

Problem must have come back and I was lucky to create my project #TTL ternary clock before it went awry again.
Opening images should not create a web history to click back through! There should be a "web image viewer" page like we have and a script just runs to cycle the images through. Much nicer browsing experience.
Did the Project Log editor get changed? I'm writing a new log for one of my projects right now, last I used it I had formatting options and a nice big box for text editing, now what I'm seeing looks like the chat-box in member chat and there's no formatting or anything.

I hope this is something stupid my computer is doing. I've gotten in the habit of just cutting off the monitor at night, rather than shutting down, I haven't rebooted in forever. If it's an update Hackaday-wide I'm going to have to find another host for that project, as that editor -- if you can call it that! -- is entirely unusable for what I need to do later on.
Chrome build string:
Version 97.0.4692.71 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Running on Linux Mint 20.2 XFCE, on a Lenovo 320, the AMD one, that's erm a bit salvage. Came to me with a dead battery and a smoshed screen, now it's an all-in-one keyboard desktop lol. I'm weird so I put fox stickers all over it and named it the Len-0w0-vo... it made me giggle, what can I say?
Works fine for me. Maybe you blocked Javascript or something, dunno.
I have only one thing blocked, by use of an extension, and that's not it.
Yeah looks like the editor did not finish loading, it should expand, and display the toolbar.
Does it give you an error in console when the page loads?
I see the projects and I like some and I follow some but somehow I'm not able to see anything lists of projects that I liked and I follow !?! Frustrating, I leave.
It's at the bottom of your profile: PROJECTS I LIKE AND FOLLOW.
Love the platform and created my own first project.
Unfortunately it got deleted and can't be found anymore (similar to the last to comments here)
The link was: https://hackaday.io/project/183079-maon/details
Happy for every help I can get, thanks :)
We're sorry. Your project was restored. Happy making!
Hi, I have tried to add my MTPA_420 project twice and both times it has been automatically removed. I am hoping the first version can be restored?
Hi, it seems my project has been removed silently and the page now returns "Project Not Found".
https://hackaday.io/project/183313-landscapi
I'm doubting if it was intended, as the project did not contain anything inappropriate I think.
Is it a known issue that in (at least my) mobile browsers, images are sometimes scaled without preserving aspect ratio? If that's a new issue, or just needs more data, happy to provide more detail, or help pin down repros, etc.
Hi, by and large all is great, but it would be great to be able to convert "pages" (which are standalones if I understand correctly) to "Project logs" (which are tied to project) and vice versa. Sometimes you start with one and then realize it is best to model it as the other and then only option is to copy/paste. It would also be super cool to have an "automated" github repo for a project so that the docs written have change tracking and control.
hey, just wanted to let you know that I am able to see the project card of a private project by @tinyledmatrix in my feed
I believe adding syntax highlight for HDL like Verilog or VHDL in the editor would be useful. At least I am missing it. Also, is there an option to turn the default font color of the code section into something with higher contrast?
My project seems to have been "deactivated" or bugged? I see it on my profile but its not clickable and any links I had to it redirect me to a page saying "project not found". I just posted this project within the last 8 hours.
We're sorry, looks like it was deleted by a script by accident. It's back up now!
The text is so dark on this site I can't read it. Makes the site useless for me. Is there any type of theme control or CSS change?
Is there a limit to the amount of text that can appear in Details? I seem to be at a point where any additions Published to the Details section gets truncated.
Yes, I believe Just4Fun hit the limit in one of his projects.
Hi, as explained in this KiCad forum post, the old KiCad domain was acquired by a party not associated with the open source project.
https://forum.kicad.info/t/warning-avoid-all-links-to-kicad-pcb-org-use-kicad-org/31521
The official domain is kicad.org. A search using the phrase "kicad-pcb" (with the quotes) got 41 hits, though it's not clear to me where those hits appear in the items I have looked at.
Is it possible for an admin to do a bulk edit of those pages to ensure that the links point to the correct domain, kicad.org?
Thanks.
I would need to investigate further, but if the links do end up posing a security risk it may be a possibility. In the meantime I could message the owners of the content and recommend updating the link.
An entry on the global feed announced that a hacker had updated a page on their profile. Actually they had deleted it and the link pointed to the page with the space robotman swimming in the void. Shouldn't the announcement be suppressed in this case?
On my messages list there are some empty conversations. Perhaps the hacker tried to initiate a conversation but changed their mind. Is there a way to delete those? I don't want to block the hacker, maybe some day they might have something to say.
Also there are some deleted users on the list because they sent scam, probably to lots of people and got reported. It should be possible to delete those conversations too without using block.
Can I change my profile name (I'd like to use my name and Surname),? Does it modify my project address or create problems to my prize 2021 challenge subscription?
HI @Green-bms - There are no problems. Feel free to change your profile name. Good luck competing for the Hackaday Prize!
Howdy, y'all. Been having trouble with this for years on many different Android phones...
Code snippets don't show up in monospaced font when published... shows during edit, though! Keeps mangling my schematics, tables, and comments!
Presently Chrome on Android... But, happened in other browsers on three different phones, as well, Samsung Internet, previously, and plain ol' "Internet" on the one previous... oh, and whatever Alcatel's default browser was. Didn't point it out back then 'cause I thought it was a browser issue...
Thanks!
P.S. Here's a lovely schematic for ye!

Ok this seems to have come good, so I'll just leave the report below for reference.
Creating a new project seems to be broken. When I try to save I get this error from the server: (Note: Happens with 3 browsers, Firefox, Chrome and Opera.)

Even before the Save failure, images couldn't be uploaded, and links couldn't be set.
