Description

Displaying digits and such on Numitron tubes

Components

  • 6 × IV6 Numitron tubes Ordered from Ukraine off eBay
  • 100 × 1N4007 Discrete Semiconductors / Diodes and Rectifiers. Ordered a bunch, but won't use them all
  • 10 × HEF4511 Logic ICs / Decoders, Encoders, Multiplexers, Demultiplexers
  • 10 × LM317 Power Management ICs / Linear Voltage Regulators and LDOs (for filament power supply)
  • 8 × 220 Ohm 2 Watt resistors for filament power supply

    Took me a few tries to get the pinout right. I was looking at it backwards. Anywho, I hooked it up to display a "J". This website is more than helpful: link here.
