A breadboard adapter for ESP-07 and ESP-12 ESP8266 WiFi module. It contains a 3.3V voltage regulator, a Reset/Program button and a UART connector with FTDI Basic compatible pinout.

I build this ESP8266 breakout board because I love the ESP-07/12 WiFi modules. However they come with 2.0mm pitch connectors that are very hard to work with. So I designed a breakout board. My design goals are:
  • All ESP-07/12 pins should be available
  • Minimize the use of breadboard real estates
  • Easy reset
  • Easy program mode
  • Easy UART connector
  • On board regulator

  • 1 × AMS-1117 3.3 LDO
  • 2 × BSS138 N-channel MOSFET
  • 1 × ESP-07 ESP8266 WiFi Module
