Description

A friend of mine said she wanted to learn how to whittle but needed ideas, so I suggested that she make a shift knob. This is what she made on her first attempt out of a stick she found on the sidewalk. I finished it, epoxied a crack, drilled it out, and machined a small threaded sleve to mount it in my car. It's been there ever since.
