Greetings all to the first log post of my DIY microscope project. This sprouted out of my other project Medical Picorder so take a look at that too if your interested in medical type stuff.
What I am trying to do is create a cheap yet powerful microscope for analyzing cells. Specifically blood cells. I will then take this "microscope" and with the use of a raspberry pi, perform image analysis. This will help identify things like parasites, or foreign particles less painstakingly than by hand.
