Success! This week has seen amazing progress. We did the first live test of eyedrivomatic. We have developed the switch version first, and this was what we used for the first test. The switch version uses eyegaze for selecting direction and speed, and a switch for go and stop (I used a foot switch myself). It was very exciting, with everything working reliably and well. I will have to tweak the software a bit as the diagonal speed was disproportionately fast. With that done, the chair should change direction and speed smoothly in mid flow. Apologies for the quality of the video, it was late and we had no lights.
