AlexToday my ICs have arrived. So I soldered one board. This WSON-Package is the smallest IC form factor that I have soldered so far. But the board works! For size comparison: The Capacitors are 0805 SMD types.

This is crazy tiny stuff. Is there a thermal pad under it too? Did you solder that too?

yes there is a thermal pad under the IC, and it is quite important to get all the heat away from the IC. I did soldered thAt just with hot air on the pretined pad. And than a a second step the pads on the sides.
