I've removed the cluster to see if there was enough room for the display.
On the bottom part there's no problem whatsoever. On the top there's the warning lights. The white plastic goes up to the front covers that have the drawings. I'll have to cut the plastic a few mm down so that the display can fit.
I'm also thinking on connecting other leds that will be placed somewhere else to prevent missing a warning in case something goes wrong with the microcontroller.
I placed a tool bit so I could later measure the distances without having to open it again. Have to measure the bit though :)
On the front cover I'll have to remove the plastic that contain the drawings and cut the remaining frame below it.
Goal: not to mess the looks of the panel! Cut very carefully!
