The new test stand shields nearly 200 degrees with thick 2x4 in the case of another CATO while providing vertical thrust transfer to a scale beneath the stand to allow for thrust curve measurements.
Constructon of the HPR has started. 3" tubing with plywood rings and fins should allow this rocket significant motor choices with high thrust.
