Slightly unrelated, but my screen arrived for the beat-up old laptop I had acquired, and I finally have a functioning laptop with a good board, more than half a gigabyte of RAM and a screen that doesn't look like there's a picture of a mutated bird permanently etched into it (this has been an ongoing thing, by the way, and I've pumped a good $40 into it, so I'm happy it finally works/works properly).

Anyhow, part of the reason I'm mentioning this is that I can actually move this and connect it to an ethernet cable unlike the desktop I have (don't ask), as well as a partition with Windows XP in case the Arduino doesn't like to play nicely with Linux, although I'd really like to get rid of it altogether and replace it with Ubuntu. We'll see how it goes.
