Today the FPGAs arrived:
DIPSY PCB board on the FPGA bag.
One IC is upside down with balls visible, other is top up next to PCB.
Going into oven to be baked..
Your best friend, IF8300, this is a MUST have if you ever do solder BGA. I added a drop onto the PCB, then removed most of it as the drop was way larger than the all are of the BGA solder pads!
Preparing to solder the passives..
Mostly done, now all we need is luck? Well FPGA is Programmed and working too:
The LED was blinking R, G, B, snapshot captured RED color.
Programmed using Diamond Programmer, SPI cables coming from iceultra breakout board to DIPSY
