This year I upgraded to a more finished 1 1/2" aluminum pole that fit into the seat post of the mobility scooter fairly well (with a little effort). This allowed the flag to fly higher and also to support a larger flag than what I used last year.
Then I raided the Flag Recycle Bin at the local Home De'pot and reused a bunch of smaller flags to decorate the Jazzy a bit more.

Preferably a robotic one, with an onboard computer that can sense obstacles, and avoid them.
