Description

As shown in the "Sous Vide cooker and more" https://hackaday.io/project/5533-sous-vide-cooker-and-more I build a system to control SainSmart relais with the Raspberry Pi's GPIO.

To use this system for a home automation project I built an open hardware PCB board for this.

The board was designed to fit to the Raspberry Pi's mounting holes and utilize standard flat ribbon cables for connection.

Components

  • 1 × SainSmart 8-Kanal-DC 5V Relay-Modul http://www.sainsmart.com/8-channel-dc-5v-relay-module-for-arduino-pic-arm-dsp-avr-msp430-ttl-logic.html
  • 1 × Raspberry PI
  • 1 × ULN2803A Discrete Semiconductors / Power Transistors and MOSFETs
