A generic stand on which a ring roller will be mounted to roll some 4' metal rings from flat bar stock. Improvements could be made so that the stand could have different attachments for different tools, sawhorse, tennis net...

I needed a stand on which to mount a ring roller so that I could form some metal rings from flat bar stock. I needed to be able to do this outdoors due to clearances required to form 13' long 1/4" bar into 4' rings (think wagon wheels). This had to be able to be broken down to bring indoors which is a functionality that I need to improve upon. Currently, the two bolts at the tops of the diagonal braces must be loosened and the two at the bottom of the pillar must be removed, then with some persuasion, the legs fold in neatly... almost. The working height is a little too high, so I'm considering lowering it from 4' high to 3'.

I'd add two wheels and a handle, turning it into a wheel barrow when you want to move it. The wheels would only engage the ground when the handle was lifted far enough...
Interestingly enough, I just freed up two small casters from another project by upgrading to bigger wheels on it and I considered adding the casters to the ends of the bottom braces but ditched that idea because the whole thing only weighs ~10 lbs if I had to guess. Could be useful depending on it's load though and I can visualize well enough what you mean. We'll see where this thing takes me.
