The shield has connections for either four 3-wire RTD temperature sensors or three 4-channel RTD temperature sensors or seven 2-wire RTD temperature sensors. An Arduino software library is available below that will make it super easy for you to get temperature readings.
Works with 4-wire, 3-wire, and 2-wire RTDs. Works with Pt-100 and Pt-1000 RTDs. It can also be used as a precision ohmmeter for the Arduino to measure up to 8600 ohms.
This shield uses the ADS1248 analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from Texas Instruments. It features 24-bit resolution (the Arduino ADC is only 10-bit), a programmable gain amplifier (up to 128x), multiple programmable precision current sources, and a ratiometric RTD drive topology to provide you with laboratory-grade, precision readings even in electrically noisy environments. All of these settings have been pre-configured!
Hello, we have recently been working on a machine to populate these board for us. Our very own homemade Pick and Place machine has successfully placed its first batch of 12 units.
hello there, can you please help me purchasing this board, i searched everywhere on Google and couldn't find where i can buy it from. need help please, we have a project to build with RTD and arduino
Hello, is it still possible to buy your RTD shield now?
