I just got an email from Petr H. today, another hacker who is building a version of Stubby.  He has chosen to go the route of laser cut plexiglass, and wow, does that ever look snazzy!  He has provided me with some photos of the parts, and has graciously given me permission to post them here:

He is still waiting for the servos to arrive, but I am eagerly awaiting how the final build will look!
