Description

The project features the inexpensive Attiny 85 microcontroller to convert baud rate and filter the verbose nmea stream of Ultimate GPS to fit to the 4.8 Kbaud/sec serial line of camera. The microcontroller software is based on the Dual rate soft uart code of Dangerruss . (http://dangerruss-things.blogspot.hu/2011/11/dual-rate-uart-implemented-in-software.html)

Hi,

There is a similar project that uses bluetooth to send GPS coordinates to Nikon camera

You can use externa BT GPS module or use your smart-phone to send GPS coordinates over BT
