The machine is coming along nicely
X,Y and Z axis are done, mounting bed is done.
I do not want the machine to be completely controlled by gcode, I also want to be able to manually control all axis. To reach this goal I will add a long digital caliper to each axis and redirect it's outputs through an Arduino Mega to the Raspberry Pi.
One caliper (axis) is done, it displays it's reading nicely in a Processing sketch I've written on my Windows PC. Two more axis to go.
This week I hope I have time to create and mount the home and end switches for each axis so I can play a little with the Smoothieboard.
